colleen, I support your efforts to build awareness of nonviolent methods of conflict resolution. you should be aware, however, that there is a rather heated controversy surrounding Gene Sharp, some of his colleagues, and their relationship to the taxpayer-funded US gov't regime change infrastructure. my reason for writing is merely to draw your attention to this controversy. here's one article of many:
